Macanudo Vintage 2000 VIII
We have a partial
box of Macanudo Vintage 2000 VIII. Each cigar is encased in an etched glass tube. These
cigars are wrapped with Connecticut-Shade wrapper leaves from the 2000 crop
year, considered by General Cigar Co. to
be some of the best.
The
wrapper leaves are twice cured and aged five years, after which, 6 to 10
percent of the elite crop was chosen to go around the Vintage smokes. The
vintage date refers to the wrapper only.
Made
by General in the Dominican Republic, the binders from Mexico and filler
blending Mexican and Dominican tobaccos. The No. VIII is 5 1/2 x 50. Only 13
of the box of 20 are available.
